The Kiama area stretches along the unspoilt South Coast of New South Wales, incorporating Kiama, Gerringong, Gerroa, Jamberoo, Minnamurra and Bombo. Pristine beaches, rugged headlands and magnificent walking trails draw visitors all year-round.

Kiama is best known for its blowhole – a sea-cliff cavern that spouts water up to 20 metres into the air and is among the world’s largest blowholes. Its younger sibling, the Little Blowhole, shoots out a more modest spray ten minutes down the road.
Filling in a day is easy with so much on offer for families. Enjoy a morning stroll along the Kiama Coast Walk and take a swim at one of the beautiful beaches. Throw down your picnic blanket at one of the headland parks and tuck into some delicious, fresh produce from the local markets. Spend an afternoon of family fun at Jamberoo Action Park and catch sunset over the hinterland with a wine from one of the local vineyards.
By car, Kiama is 1.5 hours from Sydney and 2.5 hours from Canberra, sitting just below Wollongong on the NSW South Coast. The most picturesque route from Sydney takes you along the Grand Pacific Drive, through Royal National Park. Kiama is also well serviced by trains from Sydney.
