Join the Harry Potter magical Christmas Quest

Looking for family fun in Melbourne on Sunday 15 December 2019?

The City of Melbourne Christmas Festival, in partnership with JK Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, currently playing at The Princess Theatre, invites families to join the Magical Christmas Quest scavenger hunt on 15 December 2019.

Create a team and get hunting for your chance to take home a magical Harry Potter prize plus one of 10 runner-up prizes.

What’s the Quest?

Teams will race to six iconic Melbourne destinations, solving riddles and completing merry missions at each stop along the way. Those who successfully scavenger their way around the city and present evidence to elves at the final stop will go into the random prize draw to win a sleigh of prizes. 

What’s the prize?

Major Prize:

  • A pair of tickets to JK Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (parts one and two) with VIP treatment and merchandise pack
  • One night luxury accommodation at Sofitel Melbourne
  • Two-course pre-show dinner for two at Sofitel Melbourne
  • $500 Myer gift voucher

Secondary Prizes

  • 10 x $100 Gift Finder vouchers

How do we get involved?

The first clue will be released at 9am on Sunday 15 December via the Christmas Festival website.
