Atlantis Aquaventure gets twelve new waterslides

Because they clearly didn’t already have enough.

In the summer of 2020, Atlantis Aquaventure Dubai will welcome a 34-metre Trident Tower and become one of the largest waterparks in the world.

The addition of the third tower is set to break some waterslide records, and impress waterpark aficionados worldwide.

Rides

Trident Tower will feature the signature world-class ProSlide® rides. This includes the speedy 449-metre watercoaster ProSlide MammothBLAST, and rocket-raft maze extravaganza, BLAST.

The Trident Tower.

Atlantis connoisseurs can also check out the first ever ProSlide® Dueling PIPElineBLAST®/FlyingSAUCER™ 20 hybrid ride. And you can’t get in without pronouncing it backwards. Just kidding.

This speedy ride sends guests rocketing through a giant open saucer with rapid sequential jets.

The famous Leap of Faith will also get a makeover, in addition to a range of new slides.

The Leap of Faith will add a second slide to its 34-metre drop.

Families

Family waterpark-ers will also see the renovation of Splasher’s Island family zone. This will include mini versions of all the ProSlide adult rides, a smaller Kidz Tornado and a competitive downhill mat racer.

The Zoomerango in action.

And if you can’t find mum – she’ll be at the lazy river. Sit back and let the half-kilometre of twists and turns guide you past incredible views of Dubai’s iconic skyline.

Two-day pass

You can also avoid missing any of the park attractions by taking advantage of the two-day pass. Prices start at $97 and include access to the new Shark and Ray Feeding Shows. The pass also covers Dolphin Educational Performances at Dolphin Bay, unlimited rides on the Surf’s Up wave rider, and entry to the 65,000 animal Lost Chambers Aquarium.

The Tower of Poseidon.

Royal Atlantis

The park will also open its ambitious expansion project, Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences. The extension will include a 2.3 km stretch of private beach, a nightclub and 35 restaurants and bars.

At 43 storeys, The Royal Atlantis will home 231 apartments and 795 hotel rooms. It will also have over 90 swimming pools, including a rooftop Sky pool suspended above The Palm. And we thought the Atlantis was already luxury.
