Pacific Island hopping, fun for the whole family with Carnival

Imagine a family holiday that allows you to see multiple places located vast distances from each other without having to change accommodation, organise transport or lug your belongings around. A holiday that allows you to sit back and relax while almost everything on your itinerary is made so simple, you feel like you have your own personal PA. If you think this is an impossibility, think again! This is what it’s like to experience Pacific Island hopping with the whole family on a Carnival cruise.

As soon as you embark and unpack, you’ll begin to feel the stress of the world lift from your shoulders, even if you’re travelling with kids and the extended family. That’s because everything is designed to do just that. You’ll have numerous food options, including 24/7 pizza and ice cream, more than 45 daily activities, entertainment and relaxation available onboard, as well as a free kid’s club, sports and leisure activities, meaning you won’t have to lift a finger except to walk from one area to another, or across sandy paradises when you disembark at the stunning tropical islands in the South Pacific.

Why Carnival Cruise Line is so family-friendly

If you’re choosing to go on a cruise with your family, you definitely want to choose one that’s designed for kids of all ages, as well as adults. Carnival Family Cruise Deals have so much to do that suits every age and level of ability, so you won’t ever spend one moment feeling bored (unless you choose to, of course!). Here are some of the amazing benefits of Pacific Island hopping with the whole family on a Carnival cruise.

For the Kids

Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet-wide ‘Camp Ocean’ Kids Club is an amazing boon for parents and it’s absolutely free! It’s for kids aged 2 to 11 and is generally open from 9am to 9pm with a break from about 3pm until 6:15pm. If you’d like your kids to attend after 9pm, you can pay extra for the ‘Night Owls’ club, which runs until midnight. All children attending these fantastic kids’ clubs are fully supervised at all times by qualified childcare workers, who lead them in age-appropriate activities. The facilities are even available on port days, if you’d like to explore the exciting destinations sans kids.

Teen Hangout

There’s even a couple of free areas for older kids and teens, such as ‘Circle “C”’, which is a cool hangout for kids aged 12 to 14 to participate in games, dance parties, outdoor movies and more. ‘Club O2’ is for the older teens aged 15 to 17 and has activities like movies, music, games, sports, water activities, dancing, shore activities or just chillin’ with other teens, among other teen-appropriate activities. You’ll be glad your teen can make new friends instead of complaining the whole time and your teen will be supremely grateful that they don’t have to hang with the ‘rentals.

Other Kid-friendly activities that you can enjoy too

For quality family time, you’ll find more free activities to do than you’ll be able to fit in (probably). There’s the ‘Twister Waterslide’, which is an amazing water slide atop the ship and there’s also the ‘Carnival WaterWorks’ water playground, as well as a number of other pools to relax in or splash around for some fun. ‘Seuss at Sea’ incorporates a number of whimsical activities around the ship, like parades and story times, while ‘Hasbro, The Game Show’ brings your favourite board games to life in this game show type activity that’s great for all ages.

Then there’s mini golf, basketball, arts and crafts, Dive-In Movies, a towel animal workshop, Zumbini (AKA Zumba for toddlers) and more! Just to reiterate, these are just a handful of the45+ daily activities onboard – there is so much family fun to be had on and off the ship and in the instances where there is a cost involved, you can be sure that the value is incredible.

Of all the destinations available on Carnival, their range of Island Hopping Pacific Island cruises are ideal for families and take you to places that you can only get to by ship, like Mystery Island in Vanuatu. Not only are you travelling somewhere different and new every other day and having fun onboard getting there, but you’re also going to locations that appeal to the whole family. It’s paradise, so you’ll be able to choose your own fun being as adventurous or as relaxed as you wish, and all the while enjoying quality time with your family. There’s zip-lining, kayaking, cultural experiences, pristine beaches and so much more!

You’ll spend each morning gazing out at the azure loveliness of seemingly endless beaches, with anticipation of what the day has to offer. Of course, your kids will be thinking the same thing, so is there any reason not to jump aboard a Carnival cruise to explore some of the most stunning tropical island destinations in the world?
