Kioa Island

Kioa Islands are freehold islands populated by South Sea Islanders. In 2005 Fiji granted them full citizenship. Kioa Island was settled by the people of Tuvalua Island (also called Ellice Island) after they were displaced by rising sea levels. Be met by these colourful people in their traditional way and see their vibrant cultural presentation. Snorkel their pristine reefs and dive among the soft coral gardens

Rabi Island

Rabi Island is the home of the Banabas people from Ocean Island in the Pacific. Meet the people and enjoy an introduction to the different culture and lifestyles of the Ellice and Banabas Islanders. Enjoy beach activities and perfect your Snorkelling at Albert Cove.

Kia Island and Great Sea Reef 180th Meridian

Crossing the North-eastern tip of Vanua Levu we cruise west to idyllic Druadrua Island and visit the local school. We then snorkel and dive the world’s third longest barrier reef. The Great Sea Reef’s prolific marine life include extensive varieties of soft corals and fish. Take to the glass bottom boat, snorkel or join the Dive Master for an unforgettable experience. Tonight discover the traditional Fijian culture, with a village sevusevu ceremony, meke and lovo feast at Kia Island.

Malau/Labasa, Vanua Levu

Labasa is the largest town on Vanua Levu and lies on a delta formed by three rivers; the Wailevu, the Labasa and the Qawa. Sugar cane is the main industry in this agricultural town. Travel by local bus past the hard wood depot, sugar cane mill. Visit the Hindi Snake temple and see the growing rock up close. Experience the thriving market of spices, fish, poultry, goat and local products. Retreat to the local hotel and enjoy morning tea while being entertained by a Bollywood style dance troop (Indian).

Galoa Island, Yaqaqa Island

Before rounding the western coast of Vanua Levu we spend a day enjoying the beach and marine beauty of Galoa and Nanuku Islands and the surrounding cays and reefs. Today is yours to do as much or as little as you like. Swim, snorkel, beachcomb or laze on the beach. Take a glass bottom boat tour or enjoy a cocktail by the pool. There will also be the opportunity to experience a local church service and the wonderful harmonies of a Fijian choir.

Nanunu-i-ra Island

As we complete our circumnavigation, we bid farewell to Vanua Levu and make the journey across Bligh Water. This body of water is named after Captain Bligh of Mutiny in the Bounty fame. Bligh, through courage and excellent seamanship – and arguable a return of his good character and leadership qualities – successfully managed to navigate from Tofua, through the Fiji Islands to the Dutch East Indies on a small 7 metre open launch. A harrowing journey over 47 days. Our final destination is Nananu-i-ra off the north coast of Viti Levu for our customary swim, snorkel and beach activities. A hike to the lookout offers amazing views of the Bligh Water. This evening wear your sulu (sarong) and join all the celebrations of our Pacific Island Night Finale. Pre-dinner cocktails and appetisers are served in the lounge before our gala farewell dinner featuring the music and dance of the South Pacific.

Cruise the soaring volcanic peaks of the Yasawas and discover a myriad of fish in the coral reef and laze in the warm sands of Yaqeta. During lunch cruise the spectacular channels to Drawaqa for amazing snorkelling this afternoon, you may even see a Manta-ray (seasonal). Nuku - i - mana

Set sail over lunch through the beautiful Mamanuca islands past many famous resorts collecting some additional passengers, before arriving for a snorkel from a sand cay and discover the vista of a South Pacific sunset. Monuriki - Monu Bay

Reef Endeavour cruises to idyllic Monoriki where Tom Hanks’ Castaway was filmed. Explore this natural film set and explore idyllic Monu Island, before a special village choral service. The beautiful harmonies of the village choir will simply delight you. This evening join the entertainment of our Fijian Fashion Show and Crew choir.

Sacred Island - Waya Islands

The Sacred Island is a place beautiful beyond belief. Legends tell of the great war canoe `Rogoboka’ which landed here with the first Fijians. On arrival the ship’s crew pay tribute to the forefathers of Fijian culture and perform the Sevusevu (gift giving) ceremony. Spend a magical morning swimming in the aquamarine lagoons, snorkeling in spectacular coral gardens, beach combing or coral viewing from the glass bottom boat. Over lunch cruise to the Southern Yasawa islands. Enclosed by towering volcanic peaks and palm fringed beaches, Waya Island is a tropical paradise. Visit a local school this afternoon and a village and shell market. The fit will also have a chance to climb to the peak of Waya for amazing views. Tivua Island

Levuka

This morning we arrive at the port of Levuka on the island Ovalau, situated off the northeast coast of the main island. Levuka was the first European settlement in Fiji and became the centre of British colonial administration and trade. At its peak over 50 hotels catered to the thirst of sailors in port and the town gained a wild reputation. In 1888 the capital was moved to Suva on the main island, and Levuka’s notoriety gradually waned. Passengers are invited to join an optional tour of this now quiet historic town with its stately backdrop of 19th Century colonial architecture and waterfront promenades. In the afternoon we visit the children of Marist Convent Primary School.

Makogai, Clam research & Old Leper colony

Start your day at Makogai Island with a traditional Fijian ceremony before joining the 1 hour walking tour of Makogai leper colony and clam research station. There will be an opportunity in the afternoon to return to the island visiting the local primary school children who will entertain you with their song and dance.

Savusavu

This morning we arrive at Savusavu, the second largest town on the second biggest island in Fiji, Vanua Levu. Savusavu is positioned on an extinct volcanic crater. Choose from a selection of optional tours including river tubing or a trip to the world famous Justin Hunter pearl farm. Later this afternoon we cruise to swimming beach in Savusavu Bay.

Bourma Waterfall/Naselesele

This morning we disembark on the western side of Taveuni Island – the “Garden Island” of Fiji. The optional bus tour takes you to the beautiful Bouma Waterfall where you can swim and relax in the beautiful setting. This evening we will be visiting Naselesele Village to enjoy the tastes of Fiji with a traditional ‘lovo” (earth oven) feast where we share fresh local seafood, meat succulent tropical fruits. Then dance to the drum of the meke(dance) and kava ceremony.

Wairiki, Dateline & Whispering Tide

For an experience not to be missed, join the special choral church service at Wairiki on the western side of Taveuni. Taveuni Island lies on the 180th Meridian, the arbitrary line between today and tomorrow. After the service our crew will take you to the famous Dateline Meridian where you can literally stand with one foot in the past and one foot in the future. This afternoon we visit Whispering Tide for swimming and snorkelling before our scenic cruise along the south west coast of Vanua Levu navigating Bligh Water.

Nananu-I-ra, Viti Levu Bay, North Coast of Viti Levu

Cruising south west from Vanua Levu we arrive at Nananu-i-ra on the northern coast of Viti Levu for our customary swim, snorkel and beachcombing or just a lazy morning to enjoy our beach visit.. After lunch there is our last opportunity ashore before we begin our homeward journey. This evening don your sulu (sarong) and join all the celebrations of our Pacific Island Night Finale.

What is the cancellation procedure? / Can I cancel or make changes to my booking?
If for any reason you need to cancel, contact the Family Travel reservation team on 1300 404 100, and make sure you have your travel voucher number and traveller names on hand. Please be aware that the travel operator may impose cancellation fees. In addition, Family Travel will charge a AUD $100 per person cancellation fee. Once we have received a variable request for cancellation, we request it be submitted in writing. Once received we will begin to process your cancellation.

How many people in a cabin?

Guests can book a Shore Excursion by visiting the Shore Excursion desk onboard during their cruise. Guests may also visit Royal Caribbean Cruise Planner to purchase excursions before they cruise.


Are there any age limits to join a shore excursions? 

This depends on the cruise line – the majority, however, are family friendly with no age limitations. Royal Caribbean Cruise line offers a range of shore excursions specifically for families however some activities have age requires such as diving which requires a  minimum age for diving is 12 years.

How do I pay for onboard expenses?

An Onboard Expense Account, also known as your SeaPass® onboard account, is the cashless system used for all onboard purchases and services. Depending on your ship, SeaPass cards are handed out at the pier or will be in your stateroom waiting for you. The account may be set up with either a credit card or as a cash account. You may establish a master account and add guests from your stateroom or another stateroom as authorised purchasers on your account. For each purchase made onboard the ship you will receive a receipt at the point of sale. A final statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the final morning of your cruise holiday for your review. Please note all onboard prices are in USD.

What is a guarantee cabin?

A guarantee cabin is one where there is no stateroom number assigned by the cruise line. A cabin may be assigned any time before travel and may have an obstructed view. 


What type of clothes should I bring?

 On any Royal Caribbean Casual clothing such as Jeans, polos, sundresses and blouses are all the right amount of laid back. Please keep swimwear to the Pool Deck. Shorts are welcomed for breakfast and lunch 


My kids are fussy eaters will there be other option for my kids?
