Overview

Want to experience something you will not be able to see anywhere else in the world – Australia’s largest dinosaurs and megafauna!!

Eromanga Natural History Museum is the home to Australia’s largest dinosaurs!

When you come to visit the museum your’ll get to meet our 95 million year old Titanosaur ‘Cooper’, he is one of the top ten largest dinosaurs in the world.  You’ll also get to see his real bones  and learn all about his discovery.  We’ll show you how to carefully clean the bones and you can even hold a real dinosaurs toe bone.  We are also proud of the fact that ‘Cooper’ is a candidate to be recognised as a brand new species of dinosaur in the world!  Later this year he will officially get given his scientific name!

Eromanga Natural History Museum is the home to some real bones from  the megafauna, including one of Australia’s largest extinct marsupials who we have nicknamed ‘Kenny’.

When you visit us you will learn all about their discovery and  how to clean these beautifully preserved 100,000 bones, just like a real palaeontologist does!

For those that are planning to stay for a few days families can stay in the Outback in comfort on-site in Cooper’s Country Lodge Family suite.  It can sleep two adults (King size bed) and two children (2 x Extra long single). and they also have a roll away bed and cot available.  So it can sleep up to 5 comfortably. It consists of 2 interconnecting studio suites , so it is prefect to all types of families!
