Overview

The Science Museum has seven floors of educational and entertaining exhibits that will fascinate all young scientists. There’s a Apollo 10 command module and a flight simulator, the Wellcome Wing, showcasing contemporary science, medicine and technology and the Clockmakers' Collection, which is the oldest display of clocks and watches in the world. Specifically for the kids, Pattern Pod teaches 5-8 year olds about the importance of patterns in science. Get ready to uncover the unexpected - like a space toilet, a seven-toed cat and a pregnant man. The museum’s in-house IMAX cinema shows scientific films in 3D, allowing visitors to be surrounded by space or submerged in the depths of the ocean.

Good to knows

  • Tickets for the IMAX start at £11 for adults and £9 for children. Booking is recommended.
  • You need to buy a ticket for the flight simulators and some special exhibitions
