Overview

Kensington Gardens is a beautiful spot to get back into nature right in the middle of the capital. Walk past the stunning Kensington Palace, be astounded by the ornate details of the Albert Memorial, step into the Mediteranian as you wander through the Italian Gardens, pass through The Arch, look for vegetables in the Allotment and keep your eyes open for the famous Peter Pan statue. The best thing to do in the gardens is play at the Princess Diana Memorial Playground- complete with a huge wooden pirate ship, bridges, tree faces, a teepee camp, swings, sandpit and even an enormous stone crocodile.
