Take a walk on the wild side at the world-famous Taronga Zoo. With over four thousand animals, mesmerising keeper talks and shows as well as a high ropes course and a cable car, there are so many things for kids and families to do. Located on Sydney Harbour, Taronga Zoo is accessible by both road and ferry. There’s plenty of scheduled shows, feedings and talks or you can explore at your own pace. Stay the night for the ultimate sleepover at Roar and Snore and wake up with the lions or have a go at the Wild Ropes course. You can feed farm animals at the Backyard to Bush area, get splashed by seals at a show or enter the lemur enclosure. For a fun family day out, head to Taronga Zoo.
Good to knows
- For those with kids, it’s best to enter at the main entrance at Mosman’s Bradleys Head and at the end of the day take the gondola (Sky Safari) back to the top.
