Overview

Every Australian child should get to outback Queensland and discover Australia’s outback pioneering story! It’s fun. It’s informative. It’s iconic!

The Outback Pioneers experiences include the Cobb & Co Stagecoach Experience where you gallop in a real stagecoach on part of the old mail route (and also includes the hilarious Harry Redford Old Time Tent Show), the Starlight’s Cruise Experience (an amazing sunset cruise on the Thomson River with stockman’s campfire dinner and entertainment), the Nogo Station Experience (a historic, working, outback station with sheep shearing demonstration and more) and the full-day Winton Discovery Experience where you walk in the footsteps of dinosaurs and Banjo Paterson.

Kinnon & Co’s Outback Accommodation is also a great part of the experience with heritage-themed self-catering accommodation which includes Outback Lodges, Pioneer Slab Huts and 4½-star Homestead Stables.

It’s a whole new world for city kids and one where they’ll meet outback heroes, local characters, farm animals and more. It’s so captivating that mobile phones quickly get forgotten!
